And Finally

After nearly a year of procrastinating and trying to get it into my thick skull that I need a website I have finally got round to putting fingertips to keyboard and only gone and done it!!

I have watched hundreds of videos on website design, and been confused by “jargon” that has forced me to quit many times, so I am happy that I have at least managed to post my first blog page.

It may not be pretty, it may not be professional looking but it is my first post and I am proud of it!!

With regard to the page content I think I will start with my attempts at trying to sell my photography prints at local ( and not so local! ) craft fairs.

Whether the economic climate is not right I don’t know but this venture has to be the quickest way to lose money imaginable!

So far we have done 6 fairs, 3 of which involved the expense of overnight stays and without exception we have failed to cover the cost of the stall let alone the cost of getting printing done, petrol, accomodation and time involved in taking and editing the photos in the first place.

So, for any aspiring photographers out there looking to make some extra money selling prints at craft fairs……….DON’T.
